Anatomy of a Museum laid bare at Cynon Valley Museum

Anatomy of a Museum is a special series of events by Cynon Valley Museum for  Welsh Museum Festival 2019. On these Festival days, join us for exciting workshops and events, targeted at children, young people and families. There’ll also be storytelling:  Spooky Stories, Murder in the Park and Cynon Valley Folklore, and you’ll get a chance to create your own interpretations of these tales through drawing and modelling.

We’ll be exploring the  bones of the Cynon Valley in an archaeological session inspired by our anatomical skeleton, whom you can then dress up as characters inspired by our folklore stories. If that wasn’t enough, there will also be folk music to stomp your feet to as well as encouragement to create sounds around our museum.
