Welsh Museums Festival
Here we go again!
Welsh Museums Festival is back this October, with a whole week of special events and activities for all ages at museums across Wales, many of them FREE. This year’s Festival runs from Saturday 28 October until Sunday 5 November, and our museums are ready to welcome Welsh families and visitors from beyond our border for a truly #HistoricalHalfTerm, with plenty of Halloween hullabaloo too!
This year we have a brand new Wales History Trails Passport Challenge as well as a fantastic Halloween Activity Booklet written by children’s author Casia Wiliam, which includes games, puzzles, and even a ghost hunt! There’ll be plenty to entertain the little ones, so the big ones can enjoy what our museums have to offer. From a ‘climate rave’ in Rhayader to a potion-making workshop in Ceredigion and storytelling in Cardiff, we’ve got your half term covered!
Keep an eye on ‘Our Events’ page to find a great event at a museum near you, and explore our diverse history and culture.
